Director
Crystal serves as the Executive Director of the Pacific Northwest Utilities Conference Committee (PNUCC), where she has worked since January 2022. She provides a platform for industry leaders to discuss common interests, explore differences and collaborate on regional energy solutions. She also helps raise awareness of the Pacific Northwest’s changing energy landscape.
With more than 25 years of experience, Crystal has advised executives on state and federal energy policies, overseen the implementation of the region’s most comprehensive fish and wildlife mitigation program, and driven efforts to develop sustainable strategies for managing change. Known for her strategic vision and exceptional communication skills, Crystal is dedicated to advancing innovative, sustainable solutions through collaboration and leadership.
Prior to joining PNUCC, Crystal served the Pacific Northwest in a variety of roles at the Bonneville Power Administration. Early in her career, she held positions as BPA spokesperson for the Portland-based federal power marketing administration and as power marketing specialist in BPA’s Washington, DC office. She also spent nearly a decade serving in key leadership roles, including Executive Manager of BPA’s Fish and Wildlife Program and Oregon Liaison for Intergovernmental Affairs until her departure in December 2021.
A native of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Crystal graduated cum laude from the University of Portland. She is a parent of two children, lives in Portland with her husband and enjoys spending time outdoors—skiing, hiking, and running with friends.
