Shari has been a self-employed copyeditor and proofreader since 2003. Her work experience includes non-fiction (memoirs, travel guides, cookbooks, and essay collections); fiction (contemporary, historical, romance, and mystery); and informational articles and reports (for entities like CETI and for a fitness website). She holds a B.A. in English from the University of Dayton and has lived in Seattle since 1999.
